The Frac is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Closed on 25 December, 1 January, 1 May and during set-up periods.
Closes early at 4.30 pm on 24 and 31 December.

ACCESS

Buses in Dunkirk are free!
Take bus route C4 to the ‘FRAC/LAAC’ or ‘Bordées’ stop (10 minutes from Dunkirk railway station)

By bike
: The Frac has 15 bike racks, situated under cover at the entrance to the building. We provide a pump station and a repair stand. Additional bike parking is also available on the Frac forecourt.
From 1 July 2026, a reduced admission rate will be available at the Frac for visitors arriving by bike or scooter (upon presentation of a helmet).

By car
: The main car park is closed to the public. Please use the car park behind the building or the nearby public car parks: Opération Dynamo Museums (Nelson Mandela car park, 10-minute walk) / Entreprendre Ensemble (Chantiers de France car park, 15-minute walk)


Train
from Lille (TERGV): 30 mins / From Paris and Brussels: 2 hours

If you’re travelling on the TER and have chosen an eco-friendly mode of transport, Le Frac Grand Large offers you a reduced rate on presentation of your ticket dated for the same day!

Free admission for everyone on the first Sunday of every month.

During the Frac’s opening hours, the Café-Boutique welcomes you and offers drinks and light refreshments. The bookshop stocks a selection of art books, artists’ prints and a children’s section.

ANNUAL PASS

  • FRAC annual pass, valid for one year from date to date: €15
  • FRAC Duo annual pass, valid for 1 year from date to date: €25
  • FRAC-LAAC annual pass, valid for 1 year from date to date: €23
  • FRAC-LAAC Duo annual pass, valid for 1 year from date to date: €35

Valid for one year, the annual pass offered by the Frac gives you free access to all exhibitions and reduced-price admission to cultural events.

ACCESSIBILITY

All exhibition rooms are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. To make your visit more comfortable, the Frac also provides walking sticks with built-in seats, a wheelchair (available on request at reception) and documents in large print. The Frac is equipped with a hearing loop, holds the Carré BB accreditation and has signed the Môm’Art charter.
